Clontarf Academy

The Casuarina Clontarf Academy was established in 2009 and caters for Aboriginal male students enrolled at the College. The Academy supports students to reach their full potential and to succeed in their secondary schooling.

Members enjoy a number of sporting activities including AFL, rugby league, cricket and basketball and compete regularly with students from fellow Academies. The students also run a buddy program with local primary schools and take part in health education sessions, leadership programs and employment ready activities. The Academy works to develop strong relationships with the local community and businesses through neighbourhood gardening initiatives, community fundraising and workplace visits.
